ASUS 8z (ASUS Zenfone 8 Overall) was finally launched in India with a very long delay. This phone was introduced in May 2021 and succeeded the ASUS 7 series. Unfortunately, the phone runs on the older Android 11 OS with a custom ZenUI 8 skin on top. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with an Adreno 660 GPU. The chipset is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 memory, expandable via microSD card. It comes with two Cirrus Logic CS35L45 amplifiers, three OZO audio zoom microphones and ASUS noise reduction technology and FM radio.
