LG launched its first gaming Laptop LG UltraGear 17G90Q

LG today announced its first gaming laptop called the LG UltraGear 17G90Q. This is a great high-end laptop and will hit stores early next year. The 17G90Q has a 17.3 inch IPS LCD screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The screen has a refresh rate of 300 Hz with a 1 millisecond response time and 99% sRGB coverage. The monitor uses an 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake-H CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU.

You can also choose between 16 or 32GB of DDR4 memory and up to 1 terabyte of M.2 NVMe memory. The 17G90Q is deep purple in color and measures 21.4mm at its thickest point. It weighs 2.64 kg and can hold a 93-watt-hour battery.

In terms of connectivity, you get 1x USB 4 Gen 3×2 Type-C with USB-PD and Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-C, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2×1, headphone out, HDMI, Ethernet, microSD slot and DC Power.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor on the power button, an FHD webcam with dual mic and infrared camera for Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 6 with Intel Killer Wireless, stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra, bathroom cooling system, steam and the performance of the Note the UltraGear Studio Controls system. Fan speed and RGB light per button.

The LG UltraGear 17G90Q will initially be available in the US and South Korea starting early 2022. Pricing information has yet to be released. More information will be released during CES 2022.
