During yesterday’s Xiaomi 12 launch event, the Chinese tech giant unveiled the MIUI 13 custom case. It did so after the company launched MIUI 12 last April and MIUI 12.5 in December. Although MIUI 13 does not make any major changes compared to the current updated version of MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi claims that the overall fluidity has been increased to 52% and offers a smoother experience. The new MIUI 13 focuses on improving the processing power of the main applications while charging.
Interestingly, this time Xiaomi has divided its MIUI user interface into three categories: MIUI 13, MIUI 13 Pad and MIUI 13 Fold. This means that the software is optimized for smartphones, tablets and clamshells. MIUI Watch, MIUI Home, MIUI TV and Xiaomi Smart Devices were also launched. The firmware update for MIUI 13 and MIUI 13 Pad will be available for the first batch of devices in China from the end of January 2022.
